Welcome to the McMahan Fire Protection District

The McMahan Fire Protection District has served the Hikes Point community for nearly 50 years.  Our fire district shares boundaries with Jeffersontown, Buechel, St. Matthews and what is now considered the old City of Louisville, prior to the merger of Louisville and Jefferson County Governments.

McMahan is a combination fire department, which means we are staffed with career as well as volunteer firefighters.  We protect an approximate 7 square mile area in the North-Central part of Jefferson County.iInforatiTicket Infmationon
